Gavin is a Senior Advisor at Engel & Völkers Commercial / Pacific West Advisory Group in San Francisco, bringing over 23 years of real estate experience across both the brokerage and principal side of the business. His primary expertise lies in institutional multifamily sales throughout the greater Bay Area.

Prior to joining Pacific West, Gavin spent more than seven years with a prominent national multifamily developer, where he managed underwriting, cost and asset management, debt structuring, and budget forecasting to evaluate future portfolio cash flows and returns. During this time, he was directly involved in more than $1.4 billion in acquisitions, dispositions, and development assignments.

Earlier in his career, Gavin spent six years at Marcus & Millichap, specializing in multifamily investment sales. His combined brokerage and principal experience provides clients with a unique perspective and a highly informed advisory approach.

Gavin earned his B.A. from Claremont McKenna College and his MBA from the Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt University. Outside of his professional career, he serves on the boards of the Piedmont Soccer Club and Association Football Club. In his free time, he enjoys golf and coaching his children in various sports.
